Dear Mr. Smith:
I would like to apply for the Farm Hand position you advertised in the Fence Post. I have had a lot of experience in farm and shop work. I have a strong work ethic and am a dependable responsible person and I believe very well suited to this position.
In my High School career I have worked hard to maintain a 3.89 GPA while participating in many extracurricular activities such as 4-H and FFA. I also worked on my family farm where I learned many of the skills necessary for this position. This summer job will enable me to earn money that will help me greatly when I attend Colorado State University in the fall.
I am currently attending Roosevelt High School. While attending Roosevelt I participated in organizations and have acquired skills that will help me in this job. The organizations that I have been most active in have been FFA and 4-H. As you will see in my Resume in FFA I participated in the AG mechanics team. This is where I learned extensive shop skills like welding and electrical work. In 4-H, I learned how to work with animals. I am also experienced with flood irrigating and running farm machinery. My experience and expertise coupled with my impressive work ethic make me perfect for this position.
If you would like to contact me for an interview you may reach me at zjstamp@hotmail.com or 970-690-9914 any time after 2:35 to set up a time to meet. Thank you for your consideration and for carrying on the tradition of family farms in our community.
Sincerely,
Zachary Stamp

I don't know what's with me this semester. I missed the paragraph break from your first to second paragraph and didn't see the end thank you. I have fixed the grade in the gradebook. Thank you for being such a great student, and noticing my mistakes :)
