I wish to enroll in the ROTC program for a few reasons.These reasons are pretty simple but also important to me. They are to learn and become a better leader, to serve my country, and to achieve my full potential and be all that I can be.
My first reason for wanting to enroll in the ROTC program is to become a better leader. I have had a few leadership roles in high school and I think I am a fair leader, but through the ROTC I think I could learn leadership skills that would not only serve me in the army but in life in general. I think that I would benefit greatly from the ROTC training swell as through my schooling to become a mechanical engineer and the opportunity to do both at the same time is something I am very interested in.
The second reason why I am interested in the ROTC program is to serve my country. I have always admired the service and the men and women who serve I think it is a noble thing to serve ones country and I would like to do my part. I think that the ROTC is the best way that I can serve my country and I will make the most impact using and honing my skills in this program.
The last reason why I would like to be apart of ROTC is to achieve my full potential. Through the ROTC and the army I can learn many skills that you can learn no where else. So I would benefit in a large way from these skills.
In closing I think that ROTC is a program with a lot of opportunities and something i would like to be a part of.
